Privacy Policy

ToolMix.io ("ToolMix", "we", "us") provides browser-based utility and AI media tools. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to all visitors, guests, and account holders.

Account information: when you register, we store your email address and authentication credentials (managed by our authentication provider). If you sign in with Google, we receive your basic profile (name, email, avatar) from Google.

Usage information: we record AI credit consumption (counts and timestamps), saved history items you choose to store, and your plan/subscription status.

Technical information: to enforce guest usage limits and prevent abuse, we store a one-way cryptographic hash of your IP address — never the raw address. We also process standard server logs (browser type, device, pages visited).

Payment information: payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number; we only store your Stripe customer ID, plan, and subscription status.

Content you provide: files, images, and text you submit to tools are processed to deliver the result. Tools that run entirely in your browser do not send your content to our servers.

We use collected information to operate and secure the service, enforce plan limits, process payments, save your history when you ask us to, prevent fraud and abuse, and improve the tools. We do not sell your personal information.

AI features route your prompts and uploaded media to third-party AI providers (including Runware for image generation/editing, and OpenAI and Google models via our AI gateway for text, speech, and video). These providers process data per their own policies; do not submit sensitive personal data to AI tools.

Payments are processed by Stripe; analytics and error monitoring may be provided by privacy-respecting processors. Authentication and database hosting are provided by our cloud platform.

We use strictly necessary local storage for your session, theme preference, in-browser drafts, and guest usage metering. We do not use third-party advertising trackers.

Guest usage counters expire daily; account data is retained while your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and saved history at any time by contacting us at privacy@toolmix.io. Deleting your account removes saved items and profile data; billing records are retained as required by law.

If you are a resident of California or another U.S. state with privacy legislation, you have the right to know what personal information we hold, to access it, to correct it, to delete it, and to not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. Submit requests to privacy@toolmix.io.

ToolMix is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.
